We know our winemakers personally – every single one of them! We are present on the ground where others only visit a few times a year. For many decades the house of Gevenich has been in the hands of the Siegmann family, who also operate the most important German forwarding company specialising in French trade. It isn’t hard to see how easily strong and powerful synergies can arise. It goes without saying that we know all our winegrowers and wine suppliers personally. With many of them we share long friendships and a deep mutual understanding of quality. These long-lasting relationships also share passion and joie de vivre, which is how we come to discover excellent and out of the ordinary wines. |

Experienced wine merchants and buyers have long understood that a consumer’s decision to buy a certain wine is often based on more than the sum of grape, vintage and grower.
